Diplodocus, Neo Latin meaning "double beam" refers to its double-beamed chevron bones located in the underside of the tail. Lived during the late Jurassic Period (145-155 million years ago) in Colorado, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.  An extinct herbivore that walked on four legs, averaged 90 ft. long, 16 ft. high at the hips and weighed about 20 tons.  Dino is made of bonded bronze resin displaying a bronze finish with accented color.  Realistic detail to these dinosaurs.  Makes a nice addition to a collection or handsome home decor piece.
